Do you like thunder storms?

I like them. We just had one, although it wasn't much of one. We need a lot more rain than we got from this storm, but it's better than none. It cleared the air and helped my allergies settle down again. The past week or so of hot, dry, windy conditions had re-ignited them into the misery zone again, so I'm a happy camper at the moment.

I lived in Tampa, Florida for two years and enjoyed the summer thunderstorms that fire up nearly every day like clockwork. I watched them from our screened porch. But there was one time when a lightning bolt struck a spot in our nextdoor neighbor's backyard. I think I jumped about three feet off the floor when that happened. Yeah, I hightailed it back inside the house for a while.
