Garys

Hello,

Have you noticed that there just aren't a lot of cool Garys in movies anymore?

It's a worrying fact that the name Gary is dying out.

In these troubled, virus-ridden times, I think it would be really great for all Garys to step up and be as heroic as we possibly can be.

Hopefully, when all this is over, there'll be a whole load of movies made about us - and maybe even some self-isolation babies named after us too!

Go on Garys

You can do it.

There's British actor Gary Raymond from "The Rat Patrol" and "Jason and the Argonauts".

Father Michael Kovak, the exorcism student in the film, "The Rite" is loosely based on real-life Father Gary Thomas, of California.

I thought that was an interesting Gary.
