Could this movie be made today? I don't think it would go over very well. I never did find out if Pat was male or female.

No, I think a sketch about a character whose gender identity confuses people would be highly offensive.

Also, there' a push for everyone to start going around stating their genders when they introduce themselves, so in the near future the sketch might just not work at all!

Of course it could never be made today. It would either be regarded as transphobic or ignorant for not recognizing that Pat is "non-binary."
