How do you listen to music?

Download or buy or streaming service...

Personally I use spotify premium. I really miss getting cds though.

I buy. Supporting the artists is very important. I mostly listen to niche genres that are dependent on patronage. The artists rarely make real money off of it and the funding just to keep their high-priced hobby going has to come from somewhere.

Although I occasionally buy CDs, most of the music I've purchased the past twelve years or so has come from iTunes.
As for the CDs I buy, I do download the songs I like from them into my iTunes library.

I then burn compilation CDs which I listen to both at home and in my car. I take pride in the songs I choose and the quality of the song segues those CDs contain. After the compilation CD is burned, I then type out a track list, print a CD cover photo, usually from Psychedelic art I download, and place the art and track list in a plastic CD holder. This most likely is a direct result of all the albums I purchased in the 60's, 70's, 80's, etc. where album cover art was an extra treat.

In addition, I find that I often have to make additional copies of these CDs for friends and co-workers who like them a lot.

Oh yeah, one of the my main requirements when I bought my last car was that a CD player must be included.
Fortunately, the Nissan Altima that I chose had said CD player.

That being said, I realize that fewer and fewer models offer a CD player, thus my preferred mode of listening to music in my car might not be possible in the near future. All I can say is when that happens, it will (pardon my French) SUCK!
