The original Charlie's Angels. Could have been a good couple of telemovies as well as the series at least.

Same with the A Team.

I know, I guess I wasn't sure if the OP meant the series being turned in films at the time of the original series (or instead of) with the original cast etc.

I think a Charlie's Angels film at the time of the original series with cast would have been awesome, same with the A Team.

I think Drew's were ok but still way off the original premise. Whenever they remake an old film or show it never really works because they make it with a contemporary mind set whereas what made the show so special was the mindset of it's original era.

You're right about Drew. To be honest, I only saw both films because of her but the whole atmosphere was different. It wasn't mine.

Friends was never funny. It was just mildly amusing. It worked as a tv series because we watch it while doing things at home, etc. But no way I'm gonna spend 2 hours at the theater to be mildly amused.
