Out of respect for Pacquiao I'll be rooting for him but Thurman is bigger and younger and a pretty smart fighter...should be interesting!

Yeah good points mate, it's hard to bet against a 30 year old vs a 40 year old on the verge of retirement but if Manny has enough left in the tank he could sneak a victory. Would be devastating to see him knocked out.

Let's be honest here, Keith Thurman is an undefeated Welterweight champion (3rd best after Crawford and Spence) and should be beating a 40 year old. Granted, recent performances paint Pac in a better light but closer inspection suggests the following; Thurman was coming off a long lay off and serious injury whereas Manny went against low activity Broner and a worse for wear sub par defence Lucas M both of who had styles tailor made to make Manny look good and hide his age induced flaws.
The fight seems close to a 50/50 imo.
I don't disagree. I'm just pointing out that the line doesn't suggest that it's too hard to bet against a 30 yr old Thurman -- i.e., it's not as simple as 30 yr old vs 40 yr old. I'll be rooting for him but if you have it at 50/50, then you dont find it easy to bet on Thurman's youth either.
