How do you feel about breast feeding in public?

Doesn't bother me in the slightest. If a baby is hungry it's not going to politely wait until a more discreet feeding area is available before it screams it's head off, which would only give people more reason to judge the poor mother.

If you're offended, just look away.

I don't feel much about it at all. It's just feeding a baby. Discreet or not, it's literally just a woman doing her job. And I think a typical instant response to public breastfeeding is to look away because we're so conditioned to 1. think of breasts as sexual and 2. to sanctify motherhood that pairing these two notions is too much for most people. I don't really see why anyone should expect or want discretion, though. What you choose to look isn't the responsibility of the person you're looking at.
