I never saw it but there is a film called El Camino...those El Caminos were hot, I always wanted one

Barracuda
I never saw the movie but I knew a guy called Laundromat Joe when I was young (he owned laundromats...) and he took me out in his late 60s 'Cuda on a nearby highway...

That damned Barracuda was so fast the front end lifted off the blacktop when he floored it on the wide open road

It was a bit scary but very cool, I have wanted one of these beasts for 30+ years!

Escape

I've been leasing these little 4 door Ford SUV/crossover chump trucks for years...they are really uncool looking but they are easy to park down in the city and the gas mileage is good

It's a really nerdy little car tbh:/

good one

I lease them and beat the daylights out of them
Every 3 years I get a new one
Not cheap but what can you do?!

reply

300

Both the Chrysler and the movie are manly.

I love that movie. Christopher Lambert is the best.

Spider

Alfa Romeos are very cool
I wanted one very badly in my late teens but simply couldn't afford the cost...I bought a second hand Peugeot 505 STI instead...silver body, blue leather interior, a moonroof, a damn fine stereo...
That car would quit more often than the French Army but I still remember it very fondly
The tranny started going on me but I got $700 bucks for the rest of the parts the year Peugeot was pulling out of North America...Not a bad deal

reply

I used to have a white 505, repainted black. Dual round headlamps version. Yeah, 505 killed Peugeot. It was not as reliable as the 504.

There was a short lived show from the 60s called Wrangler
Starring Jason Evers! whoever that is...

reply

There's an old western series called Lancer. Not that I've ever seen it.

Also a short lived tv show called Viper. It's like Knight Rider, but a color-changing shape-shifting Dodge Viper. Pretty cool.

Oh, and Riviera too starring Julia Styles.

Well done👍
