Overrated Directors?

As "overrated" is a bit of a broad & subjective term I wish people would give their reasons for labelling specific directors as that. A name or list of names is a bit meaningless! It just seems to always be a "list of directors who's films I don't like".

Wooden Allen(even tho I think Match Point is a masterpiece)
Spike Lee(even tho Inside Man is one of my favorite movies)
Wes Anderson
John Cassavettes
Roman Polanski(need to see more, I did enjoy frantic and ghost writer
Francis Ford Coppola
Steven Soderberg

Ang Lee is the most overrated one imo
Altman and Lumet(both had a handful good ones tho imo)
