And are there any improvements you would want added to the site?
For me personally, I would like it if we could upload profile pictures, have profile information / layouts, and could create lists of our favorite movies, along with watch later lists for upcoming films were interested in seeing.
This site is almost perfect. It just needs a few tune ups.
Has Jim updated anything these past few months? I remember he dropped by with a post saying there will be some new features and upgrades. But I don't think anything has changed since I last posted here.
Still, he did all of this on his own and all out of his pocket, and we have moderators and a functioning board - can't really complain. And I like the front page's feature where it shows the latest film, actor or show being discussed. Even IMDB didn't have that!
Just found this site tonight. I have really missed the IMDB boards. I am more of a reader than poster, but this looks like a decent replacement to what we lost with IMDB.
I just enjoy reading people’s thoughts on random movies. Hopefully this will fill the void a little. It seems better than anything else I have found out there.
Well I was super disappointed when Imdb got rid of it's message boards, and I'm just glad that there's at least an alternative. But I do agree about the site traffic. It definitely needs more traffic. But I just enjoy discussing movies and movie related topics with others. So for that alone, I'm thankful for this site's existence.

shareI don't remember so much politics when IMDb was up, but I suppose that's because they closed the boards around the same time of the 2016 election. I tend to have a short memory, however, because ostensibly the were shut down because of endemic nastiness.
shareObviously not because less people means less posts which means some movies there are no discussion. It can not be better because of this, very simple.
