Role-play, anyone? Please?

Well, I've tried multiple times to get the Games: RPG board going, to no avail. I did have one role-play steady for a while, until the one person rping with me quit the site. So I'm trying one more time, since this site has grown a bit by now.

Would anyone be at all interested in trying it? Or has anyone here actually role-played before?

To those of you that have no idea what I'm talking about, here's a brief description of what a forum-based role-play is. Basically, everyone creates a character or multiple characters based on the "character sheet" provided. Basic stuff, like name, age, appearance, personality, etc. Once everyone posts their characters, we can get started. I'll post some sort of starting scenario. From there, just respond for your character(s), what you think they'd do in that situation. Posts can vary from a few sentences to a few paragraphs. We pretty much end up co-writing a character-centric story. If things slow down plot-wise, I'll throw something in to shake things up, like a bandit raid or monster attack or something.

I have a Star Wars one that is now stalled, a Game of Thrones one that hasn't started, and I was thinking about making a Harry Potter one. If you like the idea of role-playing, but not those topics, we can work something else out.
