REALLY need a way to report individual posters, not just generic posts

On the Politics board today, some a-hole going by the name of "Joe" spammed the board with about 25 indecent post headings. There used to a selection in the drop-down menu that alerted the mods a poster was making multiple objectionable posts, not just the specific one the report was filed about.

A feature to be able to do this on here needs implementing--sooner rather than later--or it could really develop into a problem for many boards on this site.

My goodness Sandoz, that Joe is a nasty one!! I just took a peek at the Politics board after reading your comment here...this Joe guy really needs to GO!! I really hate people like him, I guess he's too ignorant to find a more productive hobby. Good God, he is awful!! We definitely need to get Jim's attention on him or he's going to ruin every flippin' board here!

You can click on the [-] that's on the left side all usernames and block him out so you don't see him. That's certainly what I'm going to do...just in case he wanders in here. I'm glad I don't use the Politics board!

Thanks very much for that insight about the [-] next to a name...I honestly never even noticed that as a feature until just now when you pointed it out!

It's a good thing. But it only hides comments and threads within a post. There's no way yet to do it for the OP's original post. You will still see the main post(s) listed on the board. I have emailed Jim about that earlier. Hopefully he will upgrade that aspect of the [-] feature. 😊
