I never touched those boards, IP logging, emails, handles and PMs are all things I expect from someone who knows how to work within the law.

Small time trolls are not those people.

I am sure he reads all the private messages. I was PMing people to come to better alternatives. He banned my ip. then i visited the place with 5-10 different ips and each time he banned the ip within few mins.

Proboards don't normally let you read private messages but what he could have done is see that you (That account) have been sending them without posting and been extra paranoid about the situation and banned you before their 'control' is fully lost (Which it already was prior to their first attempt to gain some).

Nope. Never been there, don't ever plan to.
You just joined this board today and are only posting in threads about the other board.
I joined 2 weeks ago and have posted in all types of threads, mostly about movies and tv shows.
It's pretty obvious who are the members only here to shill for other boards.

Also: anyone can open a proboard for themselves and see what features it has. It's free to make a board. Reading members PMs is not a feature. You can also ask the proboards tech support desk about this. These are accusations that are easy to investigate and easy to prove or disprove.
The other owner might be a douche, I am not debating that, but he cannot read PMs because no proboard admin can read PMs.

He has lost it hahaha. I was there from the beginning. Lots of people were visiting that place. Then some people started complaining and probably got banned or deleted their accounts.

There are only a few hundred dedicated users there. No. of guests visiting that place are smaller in number. It is slowly dying and he is getting madder. Yesterday this happened

I think i know who "John Carter" is. From what i am reading of its posts, it sounds like "Betty", one of the oldest trolls on IMDb. She has been on IMDb messageboards since early 2000s. It types like Betty. It is power tripping like Betty. Things will only get worse there now that it thinks it has full control over things. But people will start leaving.

No, that is not possible with proboards platform.
They can see that you are reading or sending PMs because they can see what page any user is looking at at that moment. But they can't read the actual PMs.

They are banning anyone who is talking about them having access to their ips and email addresses. "John Carter" is not even a real name. It is a troll who has created that proboards site. Anyone can create a proboard. Not everyone can buy a domain and create a layout like Jim. Why is the imdb2 admin here? Because he knows he is receiving negative reputation and people are beginning to leave that shitty proboards site for moviechat.

'John Carter' was seen on proboards telling people that jim is begging for donations. That's what he said. At least Jim can afford a domain unlike him.

I know they were started by GoT and TWD posters, but they're two separate boards that sprang up at the same time after IMDb shut their doors.

I don't get why people are even posting on that board. There isn't any specific boards for tv shows and movies. Whoever is running that site did a bad job of setting that up for IMDb posters who were looking for a new home.
