I noticed that Jim's site was down earlier today and just wanted to welcome everybody back after a brief hiatus! :)
With that being said, I can't wait to see what's in store for this wonderful website! Thanks again Jim...you're really doing a GREAT job here!

shareIt was down because Amazon Web Services was down which means like half of the entire internet was out. Not cool! Everyone was in a fuss, which means we're waaaaay too reliant on it, but what's new?
But yeah, it was a big scale thing and not just this site. Hopefully it doesn't happen again :o
I was thrilled when this was up and running again and I think a lot of the world drew a sigh of relief as well, lol
I heard about that Amazon issue as well today...doesn't sound good. Didn't know that it affected this site...but figured at the time that Jim was working on some more updates. No big deal to me, though, as I had other things going on earlier today anyway.
I hear you there, though! I was pretty happy when it came back up too! :)
If you check out the "Updates?" thread this was discussed too, commented on by jim himself. Yup, it was that pesky AWS outage, unfortunately! It isn't long now till the machines take over...... :p
