If I use moviechat.org's SEARCH... do I provide traffic to IMDb?

I don't want to provide traffic to IMDb, from now on I will use their sister site boxofficemojo and wikipedia.

I wonder if when you use the SEARCH feature on moviechat.org are you providing IMDb with traffic, I don't want to do that.

@ Aleina, the owner of the site wrote that he's a lawyer and checked if he could be sued. Apparently, he can't. Websites that have "imdb" in them, like Imdb2, are potentially in bigger trouble, so I've heard. We'll find out eventually.

Thanks, maybe IMDb2 should consider changing its name asap?!

Naming itt IMDb 2 was a stupid decision from the start. Even a moron would know that is just opening yourself to get sued/shut down.

I agree. I suppose they chose that name for people to connect it to the original site, but they should definitely have changed it by now.

Agreed, same for me. I do like that it exists, and right now I appreciate it to have three sites as substitutes while getting over the "shock" of not being able to use IMDb the way I used to anymore.
