If there's less cops, than there's crimes that go unresolved. Eventually people give up calling police and don't bother reporting it. Stats come from reported crimes. If no one is reporting crime...statistics will be down, but CRIME STILL HAPPENS PEOPLE.
Please explain why retail stores in big cities are closing up left and right and stating its due to crime? Please explain this. If there's no crime, the stores shouldn't be leaving.

We have stores closing due to shoplifting.
