Who would you fire if you ran a business?

Who would you fire if you ran a business, or in a higher level management position:

There's a manager/supervisor below you who constantly complains about the employees in her department. She hires these employees and then fires them because "they're absolutely terrible." And that department isn't performing the way it's supposed to be performing.

This happens constantly in businesses.

"Rex Tillerson was dumb as a rock and I couldn’t get rid of him fast enough," Trump tweeted. "He was lazy as hell."

In hiring Tillerson to run the State Department, Trump pointed to the former Exxon Mobil executive's "vast experience at dealing successfully with all types of foreign governments" and called him "a world class player and dealmaker."

"He will be a star," Trump tweeted after Tillerson was sworn in.

"I know John Kelly. He was with me, didn't do a good job, had no temperament, and ultimately he was petered out," Trump told reporters during a press briefing. "He got eaten alive. He was unable to handle the pressure of this job."

Bad employees getting hired is management's responsibility so fault lays within management.

Seems like old times...

"Besides which, Barr, who was Attorney General (lawyer) shouldn't be speaking about the President."

reply

No response to Barr's book? Is Trump actually heeding his lawyers' advice, for once?

reply

That's more like it!

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10579961/He-wouldnt-know-voter-fraud-staring-face-Trump-hits-Barr.html

"Attorney General Bill Barr wouldn't know voter fraud if it was staring him in the face - and it was,' Trump said in a statement on Friday evening.

'The fact is, he was weak, ineffective, and totally scared"

reply

Weren't you THERE when he said that?

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-withdraws-mo-brooks-endorsement-alabama-senate-republican-primary

Brooks, at a rally with the former president last August in Cullman, Alabama, was booed by the crowed after he urged them to move past the 2020 election results, to "put that behind you" and "look forward."

It never ends...

“I don’t need any advice from RINO Kayleigh McEnany on Fox. Just had a GIANT VICTORY over a badly failing candidate, ’Birdbrain,‘ and she’s telling me what I can do better."

I don't know if he's ever attacked Hope Hicks... she and McEnany the only two good things about his term in office...

Mean tweets are so much worse than: wars, double-digit inflation, unaffordable housing, famine, genocide...

Anyone that has a hint of Woke in them...

reply

I dunno... I would think that pardoning Sholom Rubashkin falls under the category of "woke." Maybe we just have to agree to disagree...

reply

Members of the chosen tribe don't go to jail for fraud regardless of who is president.

See: Sam Bankman Fried

reply

Why are you claiming that Sam Bankman-Fried isn't going to jail before he's even been sentenced?

reply

Guess we'll just have to keep an eye open, and save this thread for later?

reply

That doesn't answer my question. I didn't follow Sam Bankman-Fried's trial and I don't know anything about the applicable laws but what I've read is that experts are saying he could be facing decades in jail. It seems a foregone conclusion that he'll spend at least some time in jail.

reply

Ray Epps literally stirred up a crowd yelling about storming the Capital...and then led them there.

No jail.

reply

What does that have to do with this? Ray Epps isn't Jewish and he didn't commit fraud.

reply

Color me shocked... although he got double the sentence of Liz Holmes(Women never get the same sentence for the same crime).

I still don't think he stays all 25 years. He'll get out on something.

If you don't like Sholom Rubashkin, how about Trump pardoning Alice Marie Johnson? Rubashkin didn't get to ride on Air Force One...

reply

Punishment totally did not fit the crime...

reply

I never dealt drugs, and I'll bet you never did, either. My conscience is clean. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.
