Kurdish Civilian Deaths

“He was a civilian,” one man said as he uncovered a young boy’s face. “Most of them are,” claimed another. “This is a war against the Kurdish people.”

"A woman sat on her haunches singing songs to her dead son inside. Next to her, a Kurdish woman wrapped large pieces of cotton wool in bandages and laid them on the ground. “What happened to him?” a Kurdish morgue worker asked the mourning Arab mother as she placed a veil over her hair. “We were sitting outside and the bullets came; one hit him in the head,” she replied. “I don’t know where it came from.”"

"“There was a massive explosion, then all this,” said Razeq Ahmad, a falafel seller who had been standing 20 metres away and somehow emerged unscathed. At least two other people had been killed and another five maimed by an attack that has added yet another dimension to the war for Kurdish lands. Islamic State were the suspects this time. “Whenever there’s chaos you’ll find them,” said Kawa Maqso. “Who else could have done this?”"

Some ISIS fighters have escaped from the prison that was bombed by the Turks and other ISIS terrorists have already resumed bombings.

This is so sad. The Middle East is having a very troubled time. Everyone will be relieved when the fighting and deaths are over.

Amazing how no one gave a flying fig about the poor Kurds until they became useful props in the neverending war against Trump.

Now ISIS is escaping. BTW, the U.S. was getting much needed intel from some of those prisoners which helped prevent future terrorist attacks in the U.S.

You must be extremely brainwashed to continue your support of an obviously pro-Russian Manchurian president who is doing Putin's bidding. At what point do you start knowing that country is before a deeply flawed politician?

reply

I want all of our troops out of the Middle East beyond whatever skeleton force is needed to maintain a few heavily fortified air bases. In that respect, Trump hasn't done enough for my liking.

reply

Trump abandons the Kurds and suddenly they don't matter anymore, not their lives or their value to us strategically.

You're a sick bunch. I've really come to believe that. Trumpism should be classified as a mental illness.

reply

Republicans would absolutely be raging if a Democrat had abandoned an ally with disastrous consequences like this.

They are so dug in, so blindly loyal, they can't bring themselves to criticize the scam man.
