About Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania...

Apparently these are the 'key' states to win the next election. Was watching Bill Maher today and the lady said Trump only needs to secure one of these states to win re-election. Is that true?

306 electoral votes, a bunch in the bank, only needs to get 270, can win everything he had last time, can lose 2 of the 3 key mid-west states and still win. Liberals on the other hand are too busy with their intra-party debates and aren't talking about the issues of those mid-west states.

Yes, it's a weak field for the left. Which is why Biden is winning at the moment.

The reason why Biden decided to run was because the Democratic field was weak. Personally, I believe some of the candidates are really good like Mayor Pete, but I don't believe American bigots would vote for them, but I could be wrong.

Biden is well-respected and he could get our foreign allies back that Trump alienated. I also watched Biden interact with some people in the rust-belt. He gave off an Andy Taylor vibe to me: caring, compassionate, humble, down-home, hopeful. I got why they liked him.
Trump is just angry and hateful.

Apples and oranges between 2016 and 2020.

Many democrats didn't vote because they didn't believe Trump would win and he didn't win by many votes in those states. It doesn't take much to flip them blue.

Trump's policies have hurt or have been useless for farmers, miners, factory workers, and ACA recipients. Many Republicans have turned against him especially in the suburbs, therefore they will either stay home or vote democrat.

Trump has angered many people: women, Hispanics, young people, Muslims, blacks, Asians, immigrants, Republicans in coastal states, Jews, etc. A rural middle-aged, white male only political party is demographically stupid.

Hillary represented status quo when people wanted change. Sanders would've been a better candidate in 2016. Now, people want normalcy and security. Trump doesn't represent that.

You're forgetting states like Florida and Arizona which could easily go blue in 2020.

I called it in 2016 when I said Trump had a good chance of winning. I'll call it for 2020 by saying Biden has an even better chance of winning. My other recommendations for the Democrats would be for some of the candidates to drop out ASAP and run for Senate.

Hope you're right else we'll be seeing another 4 years of fatigue

A NY Daily News article addresses another important issue. The Progressives are touting unpopular ideas which can only help Trump win another term. That's why I want moderate Biden to win the nomination since his ideas are sensible.

What if Texas was in play? Georgia definitely is. Maybe Arizona.
