I just watched the last part of Trump's speech, and I have to say that I enjoy myself every time he mentions Europe as a cautionary tale. (especially Germany and Sweden)
One part that got me worried is when he said "The future belongs to us (americans)". It reminded me of little nazi boy singing "The future belongs to me" in Cabaret.
I'm sure it must seem strange to you having a President putting America first after 8 years of having one that did nothing but kiss Muslim ass.
shareI live in Europe and everyone who bashes EU is good in my book. Yes, europeans ARE as stupid as Trump says (especially Merkel). I mourn the day my country joined EU, that conglomerate of sensitive snowflakes.
I really like Trump saying those things and watching EU commissioners' blood pressure going through the roof. Go Trump!
I only listened to the first few minutes but he was spot on about the press. He's only criticized the lying, dishonest part of the press, the fake news, as he said it. He's not said anything against the media or the freedom of the press. The press frames it as if he's after the press and having the freedom of the press. So basically they are spinning the meaning of his words and lying when he is calling them out for lying.
I used to watch CNN but now it's becoming unbearable to watch with all the anti-Trump cheering going on. I seriously think they are producing the opposite effect, cause they became so transparent, nobody can take them seriously anymore.
