The most generic hit movies of the decade?

"San Andreas (2015)" has to be up there. No wonder the second one keeps getting delayed - who would demand a sequel to such a forgettable movie?

Scary Movie 5 -comedy
The Amazing Spider-man - superhero
Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom - summer blockbuster
Noah - biblical
Lucy - sci-fi
Would you rather - horror

San Andreas was pretty generic but at least fun to watch and had a bouncy cast.

Watched San Andreas a few days ago out of curiosity and sheer boredom. Summer is, after all, mostly about reruns. It was pretty much what I expected after watching the trailer some time back and deliberately avoiding it because of that.

However, I also rewatched Snitch shortly before that and thought D. Johnson did a much more convincing job of acting in that one.
