SOLVED: Title of a movie with a love triangle

EDIT: On my quest to watch Wes Anderson’s filmography, I started watching “Rushmore” and as the movie progressed, I realized this was the movie I’ve been looking for! No cast or neck brace present though, so don’t know why my mind remembered that. But events were separated by the month just as I remembered like everything else.

Okay, so I have only seen one scene from this movie I never knew the name of. I just happened to see several scenes on the tv while my mom was watching it. The movie is at least older than 2005.
Okay so from what I remember these two guys are after 1 woman’s affection. I think one is older than the other (could be wrong) and I think at one point one of them has a cast or neck brace. I even remember that each attempt they both try to fight over her, at the bottom is captioned with either the month or season. Its a comedy.

Can you describe what the principal actors looked like?

Was the girl blonde, brunette, ginger?

What about the two guys? Where there any particular physical attributes or looks you can point out?

Gosh I wish I really could. I even at one point thought Jack Nicholson might have been one of the guys, but Im pretty sure it isnt. I think at least one actor is pretty popular. But I dont know how true that is..I wouldnt want to confuse my memory even more by filling in gaps Im not sure of.

Well, your time frame kinda throws me off but I had recently watched a few RomComs with romantic triangles and they were "Three to Tango" (1999) and "It's Complicated" (2000), "Best Friends" (2005), and "Keeping the Faith" (2000). I can't remember if anyone had a neckbrace though LOL

I had actually spent the day watching Keeping the Faith because I thought for sure it was the movie, but it wasnt. As for the other suggestions...no dice.

Somethings Gotta Give (2003)?

I have never seen it and I don't know if there are neck braces, but Nicholson is in it. Keanu Reeves is also in it and he is pretty popular actor especially at the time this was released.

Gosh its crazy how similar all these movies sound to my muddy plot Ive given you all to work with. Unfortunately, that movie isnt it.

Yeah there really is very little to work with. The Love Triangle plot is in a lot of movies, as is one of the suitors being older.

How about this one..My Best Friend's Wedding (1997)?

I was really hoping this was the one, but it is not. I even watched all the clips available on youtube and nothing really rung a bell. The tone and mood is so very similar though! Ive searched “love triangle” and “comedy” as keyword searches in imdb and still have not found the movie. I havent given up though. The one detail i am absolutely certain of is the month or season being shown before almost every scene the two guys try to fight over the woman. So the movie takes course within at least a year or several months

I really hope someone gets this because it has me really curious. As for my guess, I don't remember a neckbrace but maybe the remake of "Sabrina" with Harrison Ford and Greg Kinnear?

I believe jekporkins nailed it with "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels." See clip I posted. Let's see if the OP confirms. This one has me curious, too! I'd be willing to bet it is "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels." Hilarious movie, as I recall.
