The whole point of the original with Patrick Swayze was knowing their sex appeal. Women fancied him and the guys watching had the babes. Now it is so watered down and reversed, which we think is on purpose. I get the joke of McGregor ass crack, he cannot park a vehicle. The film had the murder revenge with not being able to be broken. It is just the women, in particular the sexiness were deeply rooted in the film.
It went from 35 years ago appreciating sexy women to McGregor's ass crack.
