Frank Tilghman hires Dalton because the Double Deuce owner has come into money. Dalton, in this theory, has been tricked into taking work. The concept in the deconstruction is Dalton is paid a lot of money, more then normal. The idea was to use Dalton to take down the other wealthy people in the community. What the viewer is presented is that Dalton is innocent doing a security job, In the illusion Frank Tilghman has knowingly hired a person who killed before. The murdering ability started from Wade Garrett telling the viewer Dalton killed not knowing the woman he was having an affair with, Dalton murdered.
