The woman wasn't his wife. She was a stranger to him before getting on the train.
The whole point of the man and his daughter going to Busan was to see the wife (or maybe she was his ex-wife), because the girl wanted to see her mother for her birthday.
Did you actually watch the movie? The answer is pretty clear.
Even though we didn't see the killer do it, we know it's the same person doing all the other killings.
Proof of this is when she makes the first on-screen kill, and pulls the knife out, you see blood on the knife from the first victim.
I don't recall anywhere in the movie where it was mentioned she was in high school. In fact, at one point, Julia Roberts character was talking with the dad and said "she's an adult".
And Eddie Murphy was looking too old and tired to play a middle aged dad.
She also had the bartending gig and probably made a good bit in tips from that.
And I don't know why anyone would want to have sex with their pet.
Because these sequels don't come from any works of Stephen King.

There was an episode during Bob Barker's time where a contestant bid $1000 and another after that bid $999. Bob basically called the guy out on the stupid bid and saying the only way he could win with that was to be exactly right. Turns out that's exactly what happened.

I just finished it yesterday. I don't know why season 9 isn't on Netflix, but at least I was able to watch it on Peacock.
Or a very near copy of The Belko Experiment from 2016.
Sealed office building, workers killing each other, the main boss was played by the same guy from Office Uprising. No zombie stuff though.
Original? No. A couple years prior was a movie called Fatman with Mel Gibson, who played Santa Claus and he killed a bunch of bad guys.
I like him in that series of Progressive Insurance commercials.
It was not what I expected.
I expected a fun, gory movie and got none of that.
The lighting was horrible, the dialogue was annoying, the kills were lackluster and sometimes couldn't even tell what happened because of the editing.
The final girl confrontation went on waaay too long.
The only thing I found refreshing in this movie is that the cops response time to the scene was pretty quick.
