Actress Michelle Rodriguez broke a lot of people’s hearts when she shot down rumors of a starring role in the “Green Lantern” franchise. In response to a TMZ reporter’s question about diversity in Hollywood, Rodriguez said: “That’s the dumbest thing I ever heard, I think it’s so stupid because of this whole minorities in Hollywood thing. It’s so stupid. Stop stealing all the white people’s superheroes. Make up your own. What’s up with that?”
Over the weekend Rodriguez clarified her comments. “I stuck my foot in my mouth once again,” she laughed at the camera. “Instead of trying to turn a girl character into a guy, or instead of trying to turn a white character into a black character of Latin character, I think that people should stop being lazy and people should actually make an effort in Hollywood to develop their own mythology.”
You make a lot of excellent points. Although... slightly disagree about you listing Chadwick Boseman. That talented man had great range. We not got enough of him. Very depressed he isn't with us anymore to see more of his incredible talent on film.
Can't think of any current gen actor/actresses with such distinct voices. I suppose Kevin Hart or Scarlett Johansson. Maybe. Awkwafina... Haha.

Read some where the role of Neo was originally for Brandon Lee play that character, he would have also been just as great as Neo. 😭

In these films, I'd so love to see Keanu Reeves, Christopher Walken, Samuel L. Jackson, Michelle Yeoh, Sammo Hung, Kiefer Sutherland, Donnie Yen and Kelly Hu (IMO, she should have played the girl in the 2nd one and deserves to be in one of these movies).

Obviously. The main character of the film is Hans Gruber. In the end, he... dies hard. This is Hans' story. Not that cop guy.
