Thanks for confirming my suspicions. I mean yeah that ain't exactly a hot take prediction. It's a pretty hardcore sci fi movie, those don't have mass audience appeal, we're still in the middle of a pandemic, theaters aren't even close to recovering and operating at a pre covid capacity, it's releasing on HBO Max day 1. Anyone with a brain can see that will be a recipe for low box office numbers. Doesn't mean it has the potential to be amazing though. Denis has yet to make a bad movie and BR2049 is incredible. I finished it and here are my thoughts. Vesemir is great even if he looks like a giga chad. The Witcher trial of throwing helpless children into a monster infested swamp was retarded. Most of them were slaughtered within seconds and then they have to take the trial of the grasses which they also have a small % of surviving. Ridiculous. Why the hell did they use monsters during the sack of Kaer Mohran? If I was a human fighting against the Witchers and monsters showed up, I'm going to start fighting along side the Witchers or I'm leaving. Why would I team up with the monsters? That was weird. Kitsu's character seemed pointless. I enjoyed it overall even though it was confusing and didn't make sense at times. The story felt rushed and could have benefited more as a series instead of a one off movie. Would love if Netflix continued with a Witcher animation series. Vesemir is fantastic so far but the wokeness in other aspects is undeniable. To say otherwise is delusional. I'm 20 minutes in and so far it's filled to the brim with woke nonsense. This isn't the Witcher from the books or videogames. This is a blue checkmark twitter wokescold's version of The Witcher universe. Seriously, there were very little blacks if any in the source material. You'd think this movie takes place in Detroit. Also, Vesemir shows up to Kaer Morhan and right away we get introduced to a gay Witcher with a lisp. Gays were persecuted in the Witcher universe. It would be extremely rare to come across an open gay in the wild. Why do writers have to apply real world SJW woke trash to established fantasy worlds that didn't have any of that nonsense? SJW woketards don't know how to create, they only know how to take what already exists and inject their SJW poison into it. Yeah other than the coffee is for closers scene this movie is an absolute slog to get through. I can't imagine watching this in it's original play format. Woulda fallen asleep 15 minutes in. This movie stinks! Yeah somebody got stuffed into a locker in Highschool. You seem like a lot of fun. Go watch more Twilight you power bottom. Black lives do matter. That sentiment is absolutely true. But the BLM organization are actual terrorists. They commit violence for political purpose. That's the very definition of terrorism. Hi Nia. I'm in the camp that believes his later indiscretions have zero baring on his incredible accomplishments. No one is perfect, you can find dirt on anyone. Here I'll break it down real easy. Hard Pass = it looks like total shit and i'll probably hate it if I watch it. Pass = this doesn't look interesting to me but it doesn't induce any feelings of hatred. Soft pass = literally no one says this, ever. Hard pass has more emotion behind it. If you don't understand the concept by now then I can't help you. She could suck the chrome off a trailer hitch. Hard pass is 0% chance you'll watch it. Soft pass means there's a chance. While I enjoyed El Camino it was highly unnecessary. Everything that happened didn't really add anything to the BB story. As the movie went on it was like duh, of course that's what he'd do. I didn't need a movie to spell out everything I had already imagined him doing post BB. Yeah that's what's comedy about this movie. A's in the moneyball era are a complete and utter failure and have produced 0 championships. Hell yeah so many. Never watched it but it sounds awful. Agreed! That was the worst part of the movie for me. I can suspend disbelief but buying into the idea that this fugly chick with a jacked up nose is the next hottest model was too much to ask.
