it's a really bad and devious and extra amoral form of abuse btw, and i would never use it on someone else tbh
people having constantly say to u that u are crazy and not capable of thinking clearly even tho u are not really, and wouldnt stop telling u this until u eventually believe it. they do this to make u weak-willed and dependent on them so u give up the control over u and ur life, and hand it to them. gaslight someone works especially well and quick when the victim already feels somewhat distraught or suffers from PTSD or are is drugged, when their minds are already affected by a mental health issue.
