Make no mistake though, NZer was not banned for promoting competitor's websites. She discussed Filmboards in a thread about Filmboards, just as others had done, and no action was taken. She was only banned after she let the world know the truth about hownos.
But you never hear about that part: why? Because it's a cover-up, folks. You don't cover-up when you done something good. You cover up when you been bad. They can't simply deny her charges, so they erase. But you can't erase history, because I got the muhfuckin' screenshots:

They banned her a year and 5 months ago. I remember that horrific day well, much as I try to forget.
It began innocent enough. Someone over at Moviechat had posted a thread asking about Filmboards. NZer replied, kindly as always, answering his questions and said both communities are great and filled with nice people. But not all are nice. She had forgot about the hownos. hownos is evil.
Immediately upon her reply, hownos unleashed a fury of name-calling and character assassination, the kind usually only launched from his myriad of socks. This did not sit well with the noble db20db. NZer had done nothing wrong, so db sought to do right, and there on that fateful day, an e-battle did commence.
"Treat the lady with respect, good sir!" db shouted. "I shall not, for I am scum!" hownos countered. It was an inarguable point, and scum that hownos is, he then reported db20db to the moderation team for removal.
NZer knew where this was heading. She had witnessed hownos's dastardly deeds before (expertly outlined here) and the degree to which Moviechat moderators will keep him protected, and knew db20db didn't stand a chance. She would have to defend him, as he had once done for her. NZer does not forget a friend.
Now I tell you NZer is not normally a killer, but there on that day I swear to you she was. She eviscerated hownos. Not with name-calling, but with facts. She didn't just defend db, she defended all of the innocents who have fallen victim to hownos's rage. She laid out his attacks on people's families, his bigotry, his cruelty; everything.
Hownos was stunned. As he had done in defeat so many times before, all he could muster was a "Reported" to summon the mod team to clean up his mess. He knew they would, because they work for him. And just like that NZer was gone.
