Your question makes me think of that one scene in the movie. The one that answers your question and they explain *exactly* why Mike can't go party anywhere and should lay low instead. The first scene Mike speaks, right after they introduce him in the field. Him and Geoff are talking and Mike talks about how he can't (doesn't want to) go on the field trip and will go somewhere else. Geoff mentions the "paparazzi had it out for him" and he'd be found & hounded anywhere he went. "It's gonna be laying low in Wales..." The difference(s) between Saudi Arabia and the USA are in their locations (one is in North America, while the other is in the Middle East), their geopolitics, state religion, education system, culture, industry, media, etc. Did/does Clayton Lockett have something to do with anything or something? "He took 43 to die". Okay... soooo... what? I wonder how long the woman he kidnapped and buried alive's ordeal lasted? Or the people he raped? Almost *nobody* gives a shit it took him 43 minutes to die. Could have taken an hour and 45 minutes, nobody would care. (Except you, apparently, and other murder/rapist sympathizers). I'm sure most of the COs involved in his execution believed in God as well, though. I guess you could say they were just doing the Lord's good work. Although, God/the Bible (Leviticus 24:19–21) says "what he has done, so shall be done to him". So, I guess... *technically*, were they REALLY trying to obey the word of God, they'd have raped him and buried him alive instead of letting him off with a 43minute lethal injection. 12 years later, but that's the nature of the internet lol You've got the correct idea, and have obviously watched the movie (and understood it). "Kerrydavis" is not making any sense at all. She was so very brutally, obviously willing to sacrifice her friends to sleep with Mike. We KNOW this because that's exactly what happened. If she wasn't willing to do it, she wouldn't have done it. "KerryDavis" is only arguing tooth and nail because they very clearly cannot tell the difference between "willing" and "actively plotted/planned and executed". Nobody (nobody) said she planned to kill her friends. They said she was WILLING to do it Because she was... because... she, well... y'know.. *DID*. Not sure who "the guy in the bar" is, or why their opinion would matter. The people who investigated their claims said they were frauds though... and the guy that ate dinner with them said they weren't.. so it must be true? Seems to cut the one way, mostly If you'd like. The boy's father didn't seem very dangerous, tbh. Probably didn't hurt that his mother was the casting director for the movie, as well. Kind of like the freed slaves from America who decided to go back to Africa (Liberia) and promptly went about enslaving the local population to work on the plantations and farms they started. I know I'm 7 months late...but this is the first time I've ever seen a "this will flop" post where OP came back to say they were wrong. It's...unheard of... Who pays thousands for a videogame? Doesn't make sense. $70-80 tops. How do you even correlate two things so incredibly far removed? What's wrong with the history of ADIDAS? The whole "Hitler Youth" thing that everyone who knows very little about history always spouts? I agree. Trolling used to be an art. Now it's just a bunch of kids (and grown/adult-kids) who use the same handful of catchwords to try to be the edgiest of EdgeLords. Imagine being so easily amused that you laugh when you read a review, but not easily amused enough to enjoy a movie lol. People are strange.. You'd be hard-pressed to find ANY board on this site that doesn't have at least one post about said film being "propoganda" for whoever. Most people don't realize that telling a story doesn't automatically = propaganda. So they make a post about whatever film they last watched being "propaganda" while they simultaneously lap up the ACTUAL propaganda they're too jaded to notice they've been spoonfed. Great movie. 3👑s There are approximately 40million Pashto speakers. I wouldn't go so far as to call 40million a "tiny number. That's more people than the entirety of my countries population (Canada). While I don't speak a word of Pashto or Dari, as I watched this with my girlfriend last night I remember wondering out-loud why they'd be speaking Dari instead of Pashto. So you don't really need to be a native speaker (or speaker at all) to realize if a language is incorrect. I don't speak German, but if I watched a WW2 movie and the Nazis were speaking Zulu, it would be noticeable. Evidence. Not even the Nazis themselves denied the Holocaust. At trial, they used the "just following orders" defense, instead of the whole "it never happened" that people afterward who had zero involvement (and mostly weren't even alive) like to claim. Never read your boy's book? Mein Kampf? He seemed pretty into the idea of extermination. Not like he tried to mince his words or anything lol. The OG-Nazis would probably look on Neo-Nazis as cowards. Afraid to even admit their own ideals/history, nevermind put them to action. There are probably the same amount of sources to identify their frauds as there are sources who worship them. Chosing to ignore all of the available evidence doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It means you haven't done a simple search and looked for yourself. The whole "cutting two ways" thing would normally be true. If it wasn't empirically proven that they were liars while not a shred of evidence for any of the +10,000 possessions/demons they claim they somehow had the time to confront. Simple, precise AND edgy as fuck. Well done...well done. I agree. I'm surprised with how many people in this thread just assume that because the AHA monitors animals on set, that shit doesn't happen. Or is impossible to have happened. Peter Jackson's The Hobbit trilogy was a huge budget endeavor and you can bet they had people there watching the animals. Didn't stop almost 30 from dying in various ways though. 2 years later, but THANK GOD it wasn't that kind of movie. It's the absolute worst when you go to watch a war movie and get hit with all this sad/side story BS drama. The war always takes a backseat to whatever drama is going on. It was an incredible breath of fresh air to see a war film about the war. Also, although I don't speak navy either, I liked that the movie stuck to the jargon and didn't dumb it down and turn it into a "slick/great script" or something equally stupid.
