Do you expect all movies to be current 20 years after they're released? I agree, it was funny at first then it got annoying fast. They should have had them on once per season at the most. I feel the same way about The Exorcist but I'm so desensitized now that movies don't scare me as much as they used to. I still find The Changeling scarier than The Exorcist. I don't think he knew about the murder. His adoptive father, Richard, probably told him about the real Joseph and that how he was a sick child and died of "natural causes" at the age of six. Richard probably told adopted Joseph to never reveal the fact that he was an orphan and adopted by Richard or mention the death of the real Joseph and just pretend that he is indeed his natural son and that he will inherit a great deal of money when he turns 21. The senator probably wanted to keep the fact that he was adopted a secret and that is probably why there are no records of the house prior to 1921 and the reason the Spencer-Carmichael foundation bought the house. Near the end of the movie where the senator stares at Richards portrait and has a vision about what really happened to Joseph proves to be too much for the senator to bear and he dies (or Joseph's ghost kills him). I doubt it. Amittyville 2 was more of a prequel loosely based on the DeFeo family. The Lutz family weren't shot in their beds, I think you mean the DeFeos. Jack Lord wasn't born in Hawaii, he was born in Brooklyn, NYC. Same here! Both are great movies but I would say Shadow Of A Doubt is the better of the two. No. 🤣 No! From IMDB trivia: The telephone mouthpieces in the newsroom are missing because there was a general belief that these candlestick phone mouthpieces were a source of tuberculosis germs. Bensinger is the only character who has his own mouthpiece that he guards from everyone else using. The glass mouthpiece he uses was considered to be less prone to germs. There may have been a vaccine but that doesn't mean everyone was vaccinated. I myself had the mumps about 3 years after that particular episode originally aired. Yes, they still use students as crossing guards. Yes but you needed a tourist visa as well as a passport. That is true. My grandmother, who never smoked and very rarely drank, always looked younger than her age. Even in her 90's she could pass for someone in their 70's! Burnt Offerings for sure. Hopefully new furniture. No, I think I'll wait til Jack goes in there and then I'll ask him.
