YES IT IS 100% WORTH IT I HAD THE FLU 2 WEEKS AGO AND IT WAS THE WORST EVER HAD IT , SERIOUSLY ALMOST HAD TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL . THAT'S HOW SICK I WAS. SO ITS EITHER GET UR SHOT OR HAVE A CHANCE OF BEING SO SICK U NEED ANTIBIOTICS ? ILL TAKE THE SHOT. i dunno.... shoes? Haley Joel Osment? Okay, he's a good actor, but AI sucked as a movie, come on. That was almost as bad as Bicentennial Man It's not a bad movie at all. I don't understand all the critic's hate. Too bad because they never made any other movies after this ... I liked it, it was great, alot of funny moments and good acting, good soundtrack.. I remember seeing it when it came out and hoping there would be more roles for Mary Kate but never was. It's not that they're similar, as much as, There were a LOT of "Teen" Movies at the time, it was kind of a fad of the time, They even made a parody movie "Not Another Teen Movie" because they were so prominent. This one and 10 things just tell the quintissential high school story of romance I think, in America, where you have cliques, and social status, and finding something real amidst that, when you do, someone tries to tear it down. And there are all kinds of competing ego's and motives. 10 things survives primarily because of Heath Ledger lending his performance to it. I would say, She's All THat is a better all around film than 10 things I Hate About You. Think of how poor an actor the main jock was in 10 things compared to the one in She's all that. Also, Rachel Leigh Cook is much more relatable and likable as a character to me. In 10 things , Julia Styles is just unneccesarily rude to the point of ridiculouslness. A film needs to be taken as a whole , sum of its parts. 10 Things just has an amazing performance by Ledger but that doesn't mean it's neccesarily better than this, as a film, as I said I prefer She's All That. It has a better script, better acting, better soundtrack too. What? Citizen Kane isn't Citizen Kane? That makes a whole lot of sense... ... The OP apparently has never heard of Canadian-American productions before. This thing could be said about ANY Canadian-American or British-American or whatever produciton. does it really matter ? It has enough Canadians involved in the production, therefore its a Canadian-American film. It's reallly just a matter of categorizing films, it's not that big of a deal. I would wonder if the OP has any idea HOW many Television productions are Canadian-American productions.. Are you going to go through the credits of all of those and decide which ones have a perfectly 50% ratio of Canadian and Americans , not 51% or 49%... He gave everyone Corona as payback for Trump I have to admit, although this is one of my fav films... I have a weird feeling watching the hanging scene, especially knowing , from a heath ledger documentary, that he was actually in a really bad state at that point , apparently , not sleeping , and they had him hanging there in the rain for a long time in the cold on the set... so its like you're watching him struggle and unravel in this film , even his body language, hes hunched over, his body is crooked, hes mumbling ... you can even hear part of the joker voice in him at times as if he never really shook it. That is the aspect of this film i like most , his character and how he inhabits the role , beyond that , the actual plot of this film is very confusing . I think he literally inhabited the roles of the charaters he played, from the start with Four Feathers, and roles like Brokeback , the Joker, and this, and it killed him in the end, he litearlly lived the characters as he was playing them and i dont think anyone could take that much psychological and emotional torment. Most actors don't do that, they just read lines.... I agree with you on that. Lucas was respectful not only to fans, but he WAS a fan himself and he cared about the universe, he CARED about Star Wars. As bad as the prequels were, we have now come to a place, where we've gotten something WORSE than the prequels, something that no one could imagine. Where Luke is milking a spacecow as if it could not be any more obvious the studio are telling us, they are milking the franchise. And where Luke, just isn't Luke. We knew it when we first saw him back in TFA. He hasnt even been in the role since the legendary Return of the Jedi , and THAT is how you treat his character? THAT is how you introduce him? AT the end? And with no lines? Fuck off. Luke, as a character, was desecrated by that movie, and no , thank god, I did not see whatever the next one was called. and please, don't even suggest me having to watch the next one because , no one should have to suffer that much. IDK, I thought it was pretty good. I just saw it on netflix, recently, without knowing anything about it, so I wasnt expecting anything. I know alot of ppl online criticize Nick Cage for overacting, but personally I think he's a pretty good actor. So going in, without any knowledge of the movie and no pre-concieved notions, I thought itwas good, I don't watch a lot of thrillers so I can't comment to how it stacks up to other murder-mystery stories or films. I just thought, for what it worth , I didn't know who was the killer till the end, personally, IT threw me off. But I don't watch alot of murder /thriller type films. I thought it ended OK, as well as it could have. They weren't going to stay in that town, obviously, they had more enemies than just the killer, all the locals ... I didn't see it as running away. They couldn't stay at that motel after all that happened, they obviously had to leave. Just my 2 cents, I wouldn't say this film is Citizen Kane by any means, but personally I enjoyed it. I think I agree with you that the word is archaic and perhaps obsolete, whilst I also find it useful at times. Some times it is a good way to connect two ideas whilst also not losing any momentum. (Edit: Btw i never use 'whilst' i was just making fun, I agree, its a weird antiquated word)
