LOL at Mortal Kombat. The games were great (especially MK2). But please. The movies were absolutely terrible. Some of the worst movies ever made.
That "Plastic" video was shot in 1991. She was born in 1974. So, that made her either 16 or 17 at the time. Isn't it creepy that she's surrounded by men and dancing in a sexually suggestive way in the water fountain? Would never happen today.

Listen, celebrities know what they sign up for. Especially when they choose outlandish clothes or hair which they're obviously seeking attention. It's fair game to criticize their appearance when they're out in public eye.
And it's not a "woman" or "gender" thing too. Both sexes are fair game to media scrutiny.

The 70s were definitely a lot more "gritty" back then. Especially in New York City and Studio 54. I bet it was a lot more "fun" back then. Now, it's "watered down" and "diluted".
The video is fascinating. I can see it being groundbreaking at the time.
