OK, But who "jokes" about such things in a not at all funny way over and over and over again? Disney material? Some of them may have been archived? But this likely would have never happened if he purged his history a few years back when he started to get major gigs. Which begs the question, why didn't he? Loyalty is admirable, even when it's misplaced. This wasn't a couple tweets, a couple bad jokes. Like Sarah Silverman or Patton Oswalt. The guy had posted hundreds of gross comments about young boys and pedophilia. Pretty careless.... Or was it? This guy has the theory that maybe on some level he wants to get caught? https://youtu.be/nzFSag_6Z3A A few days ago when he realized people were dredging them up. The Devil and Max Devlin (1981) Oh Heavenly Dog (1980) Sounds like we mostly in agreement then. I disagree though that South Park employs "the very same type of humor". The context and content are worlds apart. Hence why on the topic of pedophilia SP is funny and Gunn is not. Agree to disagree... Peace lol, yes I don't think there's an episode I haven't seen. If you think it compares, that's fine. I don't agree with you though, context and what is actually said is important. Your comments do come off as you defending him to me, and simultaneously slandering South Park. Which is actually funny and light hearted, while Gunn's tweets are sick, not funny at all imo. Back then I thought it looked cool. It was a different time. The hot rod and bike customization mags back then were full of all sorts of hideous creations (by todays standards). You think it compares to "I f**ked the s**t out of the little p**sy boy next to me"? Defend him if you want, he seems like a sicko creep to me. I don't recall South Park joking about raping little boys? There is no similarity to the "crude humor" of South Park. Five episodes into season three, this might be the end for me. It's just getting silly and the constant overly dramatic sound effects are bugging me. Season one was good though. Robin Williams had the ability to take mediocre material and make it entertaining. He was a charming guy. Exactly, he had a certain charm. Check out one of his later movies "RV" for how he could take mediocre material and make it entertaining, and yes even funny. He had something. You've got a good point, that was pretty silly. Truth be told, there's been a lot of silly stuff in this show. But I'm enjoying it nonetheless. Hollywood is going down the tubes kowtowing to the perpetually outraged SJW crowd. It wouldn't be possible at the two different places where I ran lifts. At both of them the top operator rides the lift down at the end of operation, anybody still on the lift would be seen. If the top operator is allowed to ski down, or rides a snowmobile or snowcat I suppose it could happen? We did not use a flag at either of the places I worked. So annoying. I hate when he shows up in otherwise good documentaries on science and astronomy. The only presence I detest even more is Zahi Hawass in documentaries on Egypt. That guy is the worst.
