do check the discussion i am having with imdb staff about the deletion: https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/data-issues-policy-discussions/my-review-has-been-removed-thrice-atleast/65d7508736d43032e5754977?commentId=65d77b6525c30b3e7cec3092&replyId=6602e3366a55852f67804f47 Yeah, i thought he would learn from "ambulance". Actually more like the rotten cheese smell that comes from dirty toenails. Not even close to being that entertaining or amusing Absolutely. Jake is selling himself short these days by doing terrible flicks. Remake or not. This was SHIT!! I found it alright. Parts of it were fun. But there were too many coincidences that the script relied upon, and that threw me off. got deleted thrice. posted the same thing for the 3rd time. https://www.imdb.com/review/rw9631421/?ref_=rw_urv If you think too hard then you will find the seven sins in every movie. Doesn't explain all the crap still. The survivalist knows what's coming, the stock broker (or whatever the heck he was) could see it. But no, leave the audience behind guys, don't tell us anything. COuld have used just the last paragraph. I read just that. Thanks, i am eagerly waiting for an OTT release as the recent hollywood godzillas were terrible. Cant comment as I haven't seen the old one. But the only thing it can deem to be is "crap" I was never expecting a connection with either as a matter of fact. The comparison I made is to show that I was much more entertained watching the 2005 film. That's the Wonka Dahl had imagined, this was just a money grab. And looking at the figures, it served the purpose. I feel these guys shouldn't make a unnecessarily make a spin off and spoil the classic tale. Just my opinion though :-) I did not. It never felt like a Dahl story. It was too dull to be one. It is an unnecessary prequel/spinoff that would spoil the magic one experienced in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) as a child. The songs were bad and it slowly became a musical rather than a proper film. It's very entertaining. Does require some suspension of disbelief like any other movie. I mean as some one who doesn't even reside in the US, I never even noticed the race angle. You are reading too much into it. US being a multicultural country, you are bound to encounter people from all ethnicities. Yes, parts of it were very realistic. It was the same throughout the movie, one can see how a situation escalates merely by words. I liked it, specially the altercations. The dialogues in the pub were seriously provoking and it showed. The could have shaved off 30-40 mins easily though. After the actual act it became a bit dragging. It could have been anything, the point being, Padraic got even more lonesome with loosing all 3 - his sister, Colm and Dominic. That's exactly what Colm said in defense of his behavior :-) But did he know all that while she was eating there? I liked the movie but this scene was completely unnecessary. Well, because mostly because authorities were not looking for her. It was just her parole officer, who has requested for support from the local PD. She would never have got to Matty unless she goes through Nick first, which itself wasn't a sure shot thing. In my opinion, chasing her, when you know exactly where she would be was a logical decision.
