I liked the Avengers movies. I've liked Superheroes since I was a kid and spend a lot of my time reading older Marvel Comics and DC comics. I also do my own audiobooks of novels as a hobby. I have made The Big Nowhere, Jurassic Park, The Lost World, the Howling 1 and 2, Who censored Roger Rabbit, Dracula, Frankenstein, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and several other novels into audiobooks. I listen to them from time to time. We all like what we like. I never watched that show. And I am 38 so I do sort of feel you. The Avengers movie you describe happened over 10 years ago. It's not recent. Also I like this movie more than others but Raiders and Last Crusade have the best openings imo. Of course not. They are all wackos. I can agree with that but it's more a bunch of terrorists killing people in Gaza and Pallestine than it is Israel. Israel is fighting against those terrorists and unfortunatley killed civilians as well as terrorists. It's an out of control situation. Lol! I like the line from Malcolm, "When you gotta go, you gotta go." I'm a Christian and yes, I believe the Jews at the time demanded Jesus be crucified. I believe Jesus was God in human form and that he allowed himself to be tortured to death so that our sins could be forgiven. Then I believe he was raised from the dead and resides in heaven for all those who choose to believe in him and accept those things. Just go to imdb and you can see it's rated r for all those things. It's rated R for language so yeah. But my point was you are not improving on the original by making it R rated and showing the younger brother smoking Pot and having strong language that wasn't in the original. It's so good. He won an Oscar and Golden Globe back in 1996 for his role in Leaving Las Vegas. So this isn't that big of news really. I agree. I don't like this one and it is the worse of the original 80s movies and Crystal Skull gets too much hate. While it isn't as good as Raiders or Last Crusade it is enjoyable to me. Also I liked Dial of Destiny but agree it has some problems with it. Such as the fact the plotpoint of Indy being wanted by authorities is never resolved. No. Can't say I have. Yeah. I honestly can't remember if it was cut or not. Still I don't think it's a bad joke. I'm sure it was. Though I was born after it came out so I mostly watched them on a TV with a VCR in the 90s. Until DVDs came out. Yeah. Clancy Brown was really good in this. It's a shame he's mostly remembered by my generation as the guy who voiced Lex Luthor in the DCAU. Not that that is bad but he is a good actor. I think it's good for a laugh. Besides, back then if you had cable you could watch the Friday the 13th movies which are just as inappropriate. "Does Santa Claus have to go through customs?" I read a version of this story once a long time ago where Belle lives with lazy step sisters and ends up going to try and see her father who was a sailor but instead ends up at the Beast's castle. The beast and her end up falling in love and the beast still has magic after he turns human which he uses to turn Belle's sister into Statues. They stand in his garden forever. And yeah. There is no Gaston in this version. But it's more random how a woman ends up falling in love with him there. 7/10. I like some of his movies but he isn't my favorite.
