Nope, the only good Iron Man movie was the first one, the only one in which he had a real arc and development. The arc is about Bruce moving on past Batman, not being a better Batman. Most small towns have these kinds of things, but meth and opioids have destroyed most of the charm of small town living. Okay, so I'll hit 666 and then wish that I would never age, get sick, or die but all other aspects of the universe remain unchanged. What if somebody wishes to never age or die? She's meant to be the devil. It's just that she's nice to Elliot that makes it confusing. The devil is meant to be a fallen angel who's pride and resentment towards humans caused his downfall. The devil is basically a prosecutor who points us out as unworthy. The movie points out nobody's perfect and we do fall short, but Christianity says that asking forgiveness and faith in Christ leads to salvation. Long story short, you're not going to get a completely religious explanation out of a comedy film. As to why God and the devil are playing chess, go read Job. The devil showed up to hang out with God there and the question of Job's faith and worthiness comes up. Investigative journalism is sometimes funded by grants. I would have had the parade balloon plan precede the hygiene product plan. Putting the toxins in everyday products just seemed smarter so it feels like a better comeback plan. I also wouldn't have had Joker announce his presence before the parade because it begs the question of where are the police when he follows through? No, he just lost his grip. He had no reason to try to help him and then choose not to. He appeared more Joker-ish when he was younger and gunned down the Waynes. I think it's similar to Nolan's Joker in that he wasn't happy with the rules of organized crime and the transformation gave him the push to madness that deep down, he really wanted. After becoming champ was when the money started rolling in. It would be easy enough to get a publicist to help his appearance and manner. Basically. When the issue of doing commercials comes up, Rocky says "I ain't no commercial kind of guy, I'm a fighter." This is a high contrast to his persona in Rocky III, where he loved all the fame and made lots of appearances and commercials. Yes, the assault charge comes up, but that would hardly be an issue for a celeb as big as Rocky would have been at the time. I feel it really just comes down to Rocky being made dumber to give his hard luck more credence. Rocky had returned to his part II self where he sucked at doing commercials and public appearances. Except Rocky didn't care who was the better boxer between them in this case. It's the same as when Clubber taunted him and Adrian at the press conference. Rocky was all for giving Clubber a fight in the ring when he wanted one, but when aiming at Adrian, Rocky was ready to charge him, no gloves or ring involved. Family films draw bigger audiences than horror films. The Thing just had bad timing. It happens. Rocky was fighting him out of immediate anger, not for the sport. He had no interest in putting on gloves and shorts just to put Tommy in his place. Only thing is the hotel looks set up the way it did when Jack was caretaker. The typewriter is out, the axe is laying around, etc. The main reason people don't like it is that it isn't like The Shining. Calling it that would cause people to be even more put off. How would Jafar get Iago to do it after seeing Gazeem get killed by it? Sure there was. In the real world you don't just dismiss wasting everyone's money and time for a wedding and leaving your son at the altar which was what Pearl was doing with a smile on her face. Again, Pearl is as badly written as any of the characters here. She spends half the movie resenting Melanie for going off to New York and then the other half saying how she didn't want Melanie to have her small town life. Which is it?
