Saw it a few hours ago and was not disappointed. I went in expecting an Indiana Jones movie and that's exactly what I saw. The theatre was packed and all the people in my group really enjoyed it. an advertisement for a 20 year old Toyota ? cuz that's what they drove, I just saw the movie yesterday Just watch this (kinda tongue-in-cheek) youtube vid that summarizes the 4 previous movies in 25 minutes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmX5x8MQ5e0 He arrived at Madeleine's house in the Aston Martin. The next day they did not take the Aston as they needed a back seat for James's daughter. Also, they were in a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (an older one). They did get chased by baddies in 2 Range Rovers and then the new defenders, so that part of the Land Rover commercial is true... Just like the Nokia commercial The Living Daylights by A-ha, yes I'm a sucker for 80s music going insane for 5 minutes of fame...I bet he takes earplugs and just goes to sleep am I missing something here ? Didn't the hulk snap his fingers to make the people reappear ? No offence to the Russo's but How is explaining things after people have already seen the movie, and things that were not shown in the movie any better than a plot hole..they could come up with whatever answer they wanted to at that later time, just like people on these threads come up with many plausible answers to these questions. A 10 sec scene showing Thanos saying something about the particles to one of his underlings would have closed this hole I was indeed wondering how they time traveled from 2012 to the 70s but since that question had already been discussed here in one of the threads, I didn't want to repeat it here...A nice clean ending but wayyyy too many holes in this movie I think you mean Beatrice right ? and tbh, now that I think about it, you may be correct that Rasmus killed her inadvertently by sleeping with her as he always had the virus in him. It seemed like she died by geting infected when the drops of rain water fell on her but on the same day Simone, Martin and Lea splash around in the rain with no adverse effects 18. No matter how much a giant sea monster eats, it will always be hungry..even if it just ate another giant sea monster very nearly its own size It was a "regular" shark from the bunch that were eating the Meg at the end, it ate its way through The Meg and came out the mouth Here in Canada, movie tickets are half price on Tuesday at all the Cineplex theaters..No discount on the popcorn though Went to see it today, really enjoyed it..time for my meds 3. pretty alright actually, would recommend It was exactly what I hoped it would be, I mean what else would people expect from a movie about a giant shark. Yeah the 2nd Meg was so sad for the 1st Meg that it ate it and hence became one with it..well until it poops atleast The harpoon went through the eye straight into the brain, that's why the Meg just dropped like a rock Agreed..went to see it today, definitely got my moneys worth I am reading it right now ... the Trashcan man has just started one bigass fire -:) I myself stayed away from Mr. King's works as I was never into the horror genre, and I thought that's all what his books were about, ghosts, goblins and whatnot but then I read "11/22/63" and thought hmm that was rather good. I have now read some more of his books and I'm enjoying them so far. Which brings us to the dark tower series. Is this series worth a read ? yes, it definitely is, but it is a very long read. I did not like the first book, The Gunslinger, all that much but there are others who say that its the best in the series. I was almost ready to stop reading after finishing the first book but am glad that I didn't as the story starts picking up steam in the second book, its a good old time once the gang is all together ;-). I'm pretty sure the movie will butcher the book as most movies do, so if you watch the movie first, don't judge the book series based on that as the series is really very good
