The storyline said it was supposed to be southeast Vietnam. As far as the irony, Downy's character speaking very bad Mandarin was part of the joke. However the "real" people doing the heroin growing should have been speaking correctly--Vietnamese, one would presume.
Not a guy, and I found it quite funny and rather a creative idea.
It was a real explosion from an old landmine, and that was really his head Tugg was playing with (trying to show the others it was actually a prop).

My biggest issue with this show is that there is not enough of it. We've been waiting almost a year since the last episode (prior to this week).
Very apropos quote for this loss. I found the chat boards very useful, as there was a lot more information to be found there than on the main page. Now there is no way to ask a question or have it answered.

I thought Cumberbatch's accent was fine. It took me awhile to remember he was a brit. Laurie's accent in House was perfect. I only ever heard the tiniest slip one time.

Doctor Strange's cape is the best ever! I barely noticed the others; although The Doctor's muffler was pretty cool.
Tilda Swinton is 56. I wouldn't exactly call that young, although she certainly looks great.
I thought his accent was fine, and I'm an American. It took me awhile to remember that he was a brit putting on an American accent.
