I was wondering the same thing. It does look like a campus, and too well built to be a set. As others have noted California, Nevada and Arizona are considered Western, rather than Southern states. California in particular has a northern section geographically. However, over the years, there have been many US "Westerns," whether TV or movies, that included Confederate characters, because many went west after the war. One series, "The Rebel" ('59-'61), had the title character, a former confederate soldier, roaming the West having various adventures, in similar fashion to the "Kung Fu" protagonist. I'm 70, & apart from the characters being teens, this is my kind of movie. Always love the action adventure movies, especially when searching for treasure is involved. So, keep in mind that life is not a dress rehearsal. Do what you want to do before it is too late. You will be a good role model empowering others to do the same. This site was the best replacement I could find when Imdb disposed of all the chat threads. I was pleasantly surprised at how much of the original was saved -- that had to be a lot of work. However, I agree that replies should go right where they are placed, instead of at the bottom of the thread. I think Holden thought he was in extreme danger. It didn't help that Kemper obviously waited until the supervisors were distracted to get up. He may have only wanted a hug, but he certainly sounded sinister, and he may have been enjoying scaring Holden. Rather surprising that he wasn't cuffed to the bed, frankly. The surgery bit made it sound as though he were badly injured, but a cut on the arm? Likely the only danger was blood loss, and he was obviously not incapacitated. Given his character, it would not have been surprising if he had tried to kill Holden, as he seemed to feel somewhat betrayed. Originally we heard a miao, so there was a cat, but maybe it died? Maybe it was injured the reason it was hiding, and then died? Imdb says August. The later books and movies of the original HP series had at least some of the protagonists in modern clothing, possibly to make them more popular. Grindy called her an innocent, and she has seemed so all along. She doesn't know about his crimes or his true intentions. He is probably really good at hiding his thoughts even from the most expert wizards. I thought it was brilliant how he mimics current creatures with political power who rile up the crowd with talking about how good his intentions are and how badly he has been treated, so he gets them to attack his opponents with physical violence without having to actually ask them to. As I recall, he was notable for being willing to use a forbidden curse and commit murder. View all replies >
