Yes, and I'm a hetero guy; not only because he's one of the people I've been compared to (along with Orlando Bloom & Edward Norton), but because I think he's a good-looking guy in general 9plus, he seems cool, so that makes him even more good-looking to me). Also, I think he's a better performer than he's ever been given credit for (loved him in his early-career dramas such as "River's Edge" & "Permanent Record", and I can't get enough of the inspiring Shane Falco; my kind of leader!). He's getting more respect nowadays (I feel he could've been doing John Wick 20 years ago), and I like that! "A Walk in the Split Mind" sounds VERY interesting; definitely something Karen Black would be a part of, seeing that she was quite offbeat! Sadly, Karen black passed away in 2013 at the age of 74; but you're right, she continued working (bonus points for her guest-starring in a "Miami Vice" episode 'Victims of Circumstances', since I LOVE that show so!), and I felt she always found a way to make her presence felt in whatever role (large or small) that she took on. I also feel that she was quite attractive, as well as having a unique cadence in the way of expressing herself (dialogue-wise, emotionally, or facial expressions) when acting. Just someone who did things a different way, and that stood out for me. I honestly can't think of any actress that's anything like her, before or since. Yeah, he continued to work, but one has to kind of be on notice to find him, as he most often played roles in shows/films that didn't get a ton of attention. They really were, weren't they? I suppose Scolari became Wally Pipp to Tom Hanks's Lou Gehrig in a way, but I feel that Scolari carved out a respectable career to call his own as well (and like you said, the woman!:-). I think what you said is hilarious, but in a way it's also a cool tribute. I'm sorry to hear of Peter Scolari's passing though, he seemed pretty cool. I agree, we need more time for sure. 9; it reminds me of "Blood Simple", but a little more refined and meatier. That's what I've learned about vampires as well; all kinds have hit me up for my blood type. I agree, this society didn't allow independent thought, so Winston was an outsider who was bound to have trouble. Once Winston fell in love/lust, he was truly doomed:-). Especially nowadays; he might actually get in serious legal trouble, especially if a sexual element is considered by the courts. I always liked this film, and through the years my appreciation of it has grown. Due to the setting, it really isn't one of those films that has an 80's feel, but just happened to be filmed and released in the 80's. I feel that the film holds up and is a bit underrated (at the time, I don't think everyone completely understood what the film was trying to accomplish, and maybe was too "different" a film for some, especially critics). His character's a great lover, and I'm not into guys, but I think Turturro is decent-looking. I like her style, talent, and songs as well; Missing Persons probably isn't as remembered as, say, Berlin, but I think it's a damn good band, and Bozzio (with her voice, outfit, looks, and overall charisma) is a huge part of that. Excellent (information), that means I can be taken to it, with no repercussions whatsoever. Now, all I need is George Carlin & a phone booth. Yeah, I've always liked her, and, outside of her role on SVU, seems to have a great sense of humor. I liked Norm MacDonald; I thought he got a bad deal from SNL, and I always found him funny (I'm thinking of his Burt Reynolds "Boogie Nights" spoof interview on SNL right now; ha ha ha ha); I'm sorry to hear he suffered with cancer, but it sounds like he handled things with dignity & class. I have to agree with you on the whole "wholesome hot" thing going on with Patricia Clarkson, and I loved her in "The Station Agent". Of all the shows I watched as a kid, "ALF" is one that doesn't hold up much for me in adulthood. I mean, I remember why I loved it (still glad to have that ALF stuffed animal; guy's doll? He He), but I just couldn't get into it when giving it a look back in 2019. Oh, I see; it was probably a good idea in her case, as long as she isn't bringing ripped-off financially and the handler is backing her interests.
