Easy to say, impossible to prove. There is no oppression of anyone in this country. Not one law or statue permits this. He's chock full of guilt being raised by a white family.
Maybe he should find out why both Asian Americans and Indian Americans now both exceed white Americans in education and income. Seems whitey isn't doing his job..

Exactly.
Sorry, I just don't envy anyone, particularly the Brits - although they seem happy being Brits. The history of the monarchy means little to me. Indeed, there's no country on Earth that doesn't have conquest and power in its genesis so I think peaking in closets can cause others to look in mine.
And to be fair, "envy" drives most people to do better in all aspects of their lives, although I can't see many people being envious of the royals, particularly since it's not really something you can attain through hard work or education.
But the secret to being happy in this life is something I've always told me kids: don't compare yourself with people who have more than you but compare yourself with people who have less.
The way I see it, the monarchy is their thing, they like it, and it doesn't affect me or my country so I'm OK with it.
I don't get the monarchy - never did. But I'm an American born and raised, and my opinion is that if the Brits want the monarchy to stand, it's their call not mine.

There's no reason the love interest couldn't be a woman in her early 40s or even mid/late 30s. A hotshot career Navy flyboy could do well in even less than target rich environments.

China won't. The one thing they can't have is Chinese aircraft (for instance) being badly exposed by NATO fighters which Ukraine will get if Russia gets Chinese help. They may send some smaller munitions as a gesture, but I think their opinion of Putin and his judgement have changed radically this past year.
