You can import all your ratings, watch list & other lists from imdb to Letterboxd which is a great site (no forums though)
Type them into the search bar.
The problem with that site is it doesn't have forums for all the films which was the main thing that took me to imdb.
You also didn't read the notice on the main page:
"We are working around the clock on new features such as nested/threaded replies, private messaging, updated design, notifications, etc. We just started MovieChat.org a few days ago"
Give the site owner a bit of time... the way this site functions will end up much better than the way imdb functioned because the owner actually gives a sh!t unlike imdb.
And yea all the individual film forums are here which was the main thing i used to use imdb for so that is great + no other site offers that except TMDB but their forums don't contain any topics.
If they took the Hilltop, the Kingdom and Alexandria them three places would still be in the same sh!t but the dump yard group would be in direct war with Neegan so much worse off because despite having a big group they by themselves are not big enough to take on everyone... join forces is the only good option.
Up until a few hours ago the only boards added were film & actor boards... probably should have added the main ones first but anyway everything is pretty much here now so it shouldn't take long for people to regroup.
If the site owner works really fast to add all the extra features (which he is already) things will pick up & become more active in no time.

At the moment all the functions are all pretty basic but the site owner is working on everything.

Yea the owner has done a great job! Looking forward to all the new features that are being worked on.
The site is only a few days old and the owner up until this point was only focusing on archiving all the film forums & actor forums. From this point on though he is building all the new features.
Just post on Movie Chat instead.
