What time of year were they filming S2?

Because everything pointed out it was winter or late autumn. No leaves on trees, no grass. Sometimes even steam came from the mouth of the actors. Which definitely signals of winter. But characters were wearing light shirts and t-shirts which was hilarious and distracting.

Because I just know it had to be freezing there based on trees and environment.
