The aliens (spoilers)
I don't believe that we have seen the actual aliens. I think we he only seen some sort of attack creatures. An alien race this advanced wouldn't fight themselves.

The effects of these fighters is pretty good, very scary.
But all in all this is another goes on forever at a snail's pace show.
I did like some of the stories of the characters.
