Seems like a UK version of Big Little Lies?

Lot of good people in it. Stephen Rea, Imelda Staunton, Francesca Annis, and so on.

We just recently watched Francesca Annis in the Lillie Langtry series -- https://moviechat.org/tt0077042/Lillie -- from 1978! and are now suffering timelag! Had no idea she was even still acting, but amazingly she still looks much younger than we would have thought.

We watched all four episodes on Passport. For a while we were wondering why this wasn't in the Masterpiece Mystery series!

Annis did so many period dramas on tv from the 70s to the present. In addition to those you’ve mentioned, she was in Madame Bovary, Cranford, Wives and Daughters, Home Fires, Jane Eyre, Tommy and Tuppence Partners in Crime, etc.

One question about Flesh & Blood. What are the inheritance laws in the UK? They refer to worries that Doctor Mark will inherit all her money. Wouldn't it be simple to just make a will that all the money goes to the kids? Problem solved.

reply

When the kids were discussing it, they mentioned that their mother didn’t have a will.

Wouldn't it be simple to just make a will.

reply

Of course, but then there wouldn’t have been a script

reply

Not at all. Just leave that part out.
