Great visuals.

The opening sequence was really good. The movie was very entertaining and had some pretty humorous scenes throughout. The CGI is not the greatest. I also wished the scenes in hell were not quite as dark. But I was still entertained throughout and never felt the urge to turn it off or the feeling that I wish it would just hurry up and be over with. I thought the older lady (Eveline Hall) is very beautiful and did a fantastic job as the evil Liz. The premise, even though it's been tried in part in countless movies, has been elevated because of some new ideas. A biotech company is making clone babies from the DNA of histories most famous geniuses and auctioning them off to the highest bidder. But they are also trying to clone Jesus Christ from DNA that they're trying to get from the Shroud of Turin for nefarious purposes. It is surprising though that this was a theatrically released film as it looks nothing like one. This looks exactly like a made for TNT movie set up as a pilot to an upcoming series (such as 2004's Frankenstein for the USA network). Which was kind of nice for nostalgia reasons since we don't really get those types of made for television movies anymore. I enjoyed this movie much more than the recent movies that I've watched lately such as The Menu, Barbarian, Nope, Infinity Pool etc.

Better than the ratings would indicate. More like a 70s or 80s movie though. Great acting by the lead actress, with a good enough plot.
