Nina and Cassie are dead.was it somebody who pickedup q that phone

Those were messages which Cassie scheduled to be sent in case something happened to her.

I didnt know it was possible to schedule a message. I usually send messages att he same time

I don't think it can be done natively on Android or iPhone. It requires a special app download.

So I think the film may have taken a few liberties there. Either Cassie and Ray downloaded the same app and could do this, or this movie simply takes place in a universe where all phones can do this. Didn't she also schedule messages to others or am I misremembering?

I think it's an app (Apple may have a feature built in to schedule messages -- Android user here.). But you can definitely schedule texts to get sent at a later time/date.
