Casting News and plot prediction

This is a week old but Nicholas Hoult has joined the cast of the 7th and 8th films it is believed that he'll play a villain (interesting), but it's not 100% confirmed what role he'll play. McQuarrie confirmed his casting by saying on IG "Like to raise a little bit of hell?" to which Hoult responded "Love to, but why stop a little". This could also mean in context that the franchise raises hell. Hoult has had a rough 2019, Dark Pheonix bombed, he lost out the Batman gig to Robert Pattinson and his film "The Banker" had it's premiere cancelled, but the Mission Impossible franchise is obviously a safe haven for actors who've had a bit of a down fall with their careers. Interesting what role Hoult will end up playing, but we'll just have to wait and see.
Simon Pegg is said to returning, and could also say that while it's not confirmed, Ving Rhames will be back. Jeremy Renner's return looks to be up in the air for now.

For the plot I say that it will revolve around MI6's role like what they did with the CIA in the last two films. We've seen very little of MI6 in past films with the exception of Ilsa, Atlee and Lane being traitors and their mention of having Ilsa kill Lane and have their loyalty proved which was later resolved and mentioned by Erica Sloane at the end of Fallout.

Probably already heard, but in recent (surprising) casting news it has been confirmed that Henry Czerny, who played Eugene Kittridge in the first Mission Impossible movie, is set to return to the franchise.... https://movieweb.com/mission-impossible-7-henry-czerny/

I always thought that his character should’ve stuck around (at least for another two movies), so this should be interesting. As for other possible returning cast members, while I’m not expecting Renner to return (a brief appearance would be nice) the cast is looking GREAT.
