Story

Is there anything known about the story? Will it be turned in a complete alternate history Rome, with Maximus killing Commodus doing real changes to the Empire? Or they will say that Commodus secretly survived that? Or they will implement a stooge to fill the historic gap and continue the movie with the events of "The Year of the Five Emperors"? (most likely plot point imo)
